Jack / Jacquelina A. Shelia — author of My Transvestite Addictions

(aka Alicia Jacquelina, Jessica S  —
transgender entertainer and educator)

I'm a crossdresser/transvestite who has long struggled with my gender identity as well as various addictions, including those involving alcohol and sex. I've authored a book based on my experiences titled My Transvestite Addictions—The Story of One Individual’s Odyssey Through Crossdressing, Alcohol, Escorts, Strippers, Sex, and Money
(ISBN: 978-1-62646-325-7). The book, published by BookLocker.com in March 2013, examines the way one individual is dealing with his complex issues of crossdressing and transgenderism and his chronic problems of alcohol and sexual addictions. I'm hoping the book will both educate and entertain my readers.

"Like so many of the great stories of addictions, this is a story of a long, winding road-trip through the emotional and sexual psyche... amusing and horrifying, cautionary and inspiring."  -Sally Bibrary, Frock Magazine

"...a fascinating read... a wild ride of freedom and excess... I applaud the courage to put such a story out for others to gain insights from."  -Gina-Vizavi, Transgender Forum

"...beautifully written, riveting, and, yes, fun!... [the author writes like] the Jacqueline Susann of memoirists."  -J.P.

"...fascinating. It reads like a novel. Can't put it down!... the most honest book I've ever read."  -S.T.

"...dark and erotic. I love it!"  -C.B.

"Thank you for writing your story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it."  -D.B.

The book

The stories in my book, My Transvestite Addictions, are crafted to give a realistic and sometimes shocking portrayal
of what life is like for one individual who is struggling with his gender identity, as expressed through crossdressing,
and his addictions to alcohol, call girls, strippers, sex with strangers picked up in bars, and spending money like
there's no tomorrow. I've had public sex with men in bars while I was dressed like a woman, I've dated a sexy female stripper whom I met while I was crossdressed at the strip club, I've been locked up in jail for drunk driving and beat up by cops because of how I was dressed, I've been hauled off to a hospital because I threatened suicide to my gender therapist... just a few of the many crazy, wild things I talk about in my book. After a long series of sometimes highly enjoyable and sometimes extremely disturbing experiences such as these, I finally reached a partial resolution on my problems—a resolution derived from my own inner strength and independent spirit and the kind, caring help of others.

WARNING: If you are offended by blunt language, swear words, graphic sexual descriptions, libertarian politics, freedom, and honesty, please do not buy my book... or do buy my book and please be offended.

POST-PUBLICATION NOTE:

After My Transvestite Addictions was published in March 2013, Jacquelina’s/Alicia’s problems with addictions and impulses continued and worsened... more drunken days and nights, more call girls, more strippers, more throwing money away at fantasies… she even began to think of herself as a phone sex and online porn star. INCREASINGLY OUT OF CONTROL!!!

Jack/Al knew that this had to stop. HER alcohol and sex addictions were killing HIM! So before she could kill him, he decided to kill her, once and for all. But how could he accomplish this, when he had tried and failed so many times before? He learned and applied the power of cognitive psychology. The power of using one’s thoughts and logic and reason to control one’s emotions and impulses and actions. He came to better understand and apply this power through his own research and reading and thinking. Helping him to thoroughly think through all this was the use of talk therapy, not with professional therapists, but with some friends (including the “two K’s”) who provided their blunt and honest opinions and assessments.

During 2015, Jacquelina/Alicia was killed by Jack/Al. She is now finally out of his life, and he is free. Yes, it can be done, and it was done. Jacquelina/Alicia was replaced by a more sane, more mature female persona named Jessica S.

Transgenderism/transsexuality is a good and healthy thing for many people. But for Jack/Al, it turned into a serious pathological problem. Clear sober strong independent thinking finally solved that problem....

And Jessica S will carry the healthy and happy TRANSGENDER torch forward from now on!
